“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 KJV

The first step to salvation is to realize that you are a sinner and that your sin has separated you from God. Admit that you are in need of forgiveness of your sins so that your relationship with God can be restored. The Bible says - “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23 KJV)

Reconciliation to God can only be done through His Son Jesus Christ - “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6 KJV)

If you would like to be assured that you will spend eternity in heaven, take a moment to pray this prayer of salvation:

Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the Name of Jesus. It says in Your Word “that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Acts 2:21 KJV) So Father I call on You now. I believe that Jesus died for me on the cross. I ask that You forgive me of my sins and wash me clean with the blood of Your precious Son. Romans 10: 9-10 says “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead.  I confess Him as Lord and Savior. I invite Him now into my heart and to be Lord over my life. I believe that I am born-again, and that I will now spend eternity with You.

In Jesus Name,

Amen.

Now that you have invited Jesus Christ into your heart, you are born-again.  It is important to your ability to successfully live and function in the earth as a Christian that you come into fellowship with a local church. Connection and fellowship with each other increases our strength in God.

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25 KJV
